Note: Many people find GPS directions to our campus misleading. The best way to find the VFES campus is to follow the directions printed below.

 

Traveling EAST (from West Chester, Coatesville, Wilmington):

  • Take Rt. 30 Bypass to Rt. 202 North.
  • Take Rt. 202 North. Exit at Rt. 252/Paoli.
  • Turn left at bottom of ramp onto Swedesford Road.
  • Travel approximately 1 mile (heading west) on Swedesford Road.
  • Turn right onto North Valley Road; travel approx. 0.7 mile.

Traveling WEST (from Philadelphia, Willow Grove, King of Prussia):

  • Take PA Turnpike West to Valley Forge Exit 326 (formerly exit #24) OR take Schuylkill Expressway/Route 76 West to 202 South (West Chester).
  • Take Rt. 202 South. Exit at Rt. 252 South/Paoli.
  • Turn right at 3rd traffic light onto Swedesford Road (marked Howellville Road on left).
  • Travel approximately 1 mile (heading west) on Swedesford Road.
  • Turn right onto North Valley Road; travel approx. 0.7 mile.

Traveling NORTH (from Newtown Square, Chester):

  • Take Rt. 476 North to Rt. 3 West (Broomall/Upper Darby).
  • Take Rt. 3 West to Newtown Square.
  • Take a right onto Rt. 252 North. Cross Rt. 30/Lancaster Avenue in Paoli.
  • Turn left at 2nd traffic light onto Swedesford Road (marked Howellville Road on the right).
  • Travel approximately 1 mile (heading west) on Swedesford Road.
  • Turn right onto North Valley Road; travel approx. 0.7 mile.

Traveling SOUTHEAST (from Pottstown/Phoenixville):

  • Follow Rt. 724 East toward Phoenixville. Rt. 724 joins Rt. 23 East.
  • Follow Rt. 23 East through Phoenixville towards Valley Forge.
  • Cross Pickering Creek, and turn right at next traffic light onto Country Club Road.
  • Follow Country Club Road past Phoenixville Country Club and to the crest of Valley Forge Mountain, crossing Valley Park Road.
  • Stay left when road splits. Country Club Road becomes Diamond Rock Road (not marked).
  • Follow Diamond Rock Road to the end. Turn right onto Yellow Springs Road. (See note about 3 campus entrances below)
  • Take a left onto North Valley Road.
  • Campus is on your left.

Note: The Valley Forge Educational Services Campus has 3 entrances

  • Use Entrance A, on North Valley Road, to access The Milton Brutten Educational Complex (Vanguard Lower School classrooms), VFES Activities Center, Vanguard Transition Center and VFES Athletic Fields.
  • Use Entrance B, at 1777 North Valley Road, from 9:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday to access the VFES Corporate Offices.
  • Use Entrance C, at the corner of Yellow Springs Road and North Valley Road, to access the VFES Corporate Offices, VFES Education Center/Cafeteria, Richard D. Mierley Education Center (Vanguard Upper School classrooms), The Luma Center, Vanguard Admissions and PACE Course.
