2008 Program Highlights:

Seventy-two Vanguard families participated in our 2008 SUMMER MATTERS (now called SUMMER L.I.F.E.) program - including 19 families from surrounding communities/school districts!

During July, young people traveled to CT, NH, and NC to broaden their horizons and develop healthy relationships while  hiking, sailing, and exploring the history of the Outer Banks.

Locally, youth took part in community outings including camping trips to French Creek State Park, Canopy Tours and Geocaching challenges at Spring Mountain Adventures, and Total Conditioning programs at Parisi Speed School in Downingtown.

One group of students spent a week learning about filmmaking under the supervision and mentorship of award-winning filmmakers and Abby Russell of Nuforms Media.
